Bridge Road and Bright beers

Beer

Well I’ve finally been able to look at a beer again after he huge week that was beer judging/king for a birthday week! Looked at a few interesting beers this arvo. Bridge road are easily a viable at most bottleos the wheat was good but didn’t float my boat. Think for the price point there is better out there…like Burleigh hef. Bright pale great nose that doesn’t follow onto the palate, strong pine and citrus then dies away to watery finish. The dubbel was interesting thick and syrupy on the palate very reminiscent of the chimay red. Amber not bad but not carrying enough malt as I would expect to see in a high end craft amber, the porter was probably my pick, not as toasty and ashy as I’d like to see, but still has a depth of coffee and chocolate notes, in ouch of smoke and faint cedar in there. Good attempt at an all weather porter.
